These can be used as an Ebony Type (Substitute), with a deep black colour throughout, these are ideal if you want to avoid the tonal variations sometimes found in natural ebony.
The dyes penetrate 100% of the wood fibre and thickness, allowing the colour to remain even if a small layer is sanded away.
Ends may need trimming as each extremity may not be perfect. Before joining 2 lengths together, cut at a right angle and then match up edges.
